An investigation into some recent vehicle thefts and break-in's in West Union has resulted in the arrest of four people.

Last week West Union Police requested the public's help in solving recent criminal activity, by locking vehicles and homes, take the keys out of vehicles, and report anything suspicious.

The department now reports that they have made some arrests. Three Oelwein residents and one Elgin resident have been taken into custody for the break-in's and thefts.

The West Union Police Department reports that the investigation continues, and more arrests are expected.
