Young NE Iowa Man Busted on Drug Warrant

A young Oelwein man has been arrested on an outstanding warrant for an illegal drug charge.

At about 1:30pm Monday, Oelwein police took 19 year old James Dempsey into custody on a Fayette County Sheriff's Office warrant.

The original charge was possession of marijuana with into to deliver, which is a class "D" felony.
