Winny Blows Tire, Ends up in Ditch

A Decorah man escaped injury but his motor home was damaged in an accident in Fayette County.

Just before 5pm Monday, 67 year old Larry Wilson was driving a 2002 Winnebago motor home, eastbound on Highway 3, just east of Oelwein, when a front tire blew out.

The motor home went into the south ditch, and no one was injured; but there was $5,000 in damage to the Winnebago.

The accident was investigated by the Fayette County Sheriff's Office.
