Waterloo Woman Attacked, Purse Stolen

Waterloo Police are looking for two young suspects involved in a strong-arm robbery last night.

The incident was reported at about 11:30pm Tuesday; 28 year old Mineisha Ford had arrived at her home on Lakeside Street, when she turned off her home security system, then started to walk back to her car.

At that time, two teenagers pushed their way into her home and assaulted her. They then grabbed her purse and fled. The purse was later found outside, with the wallet missing.

Ford was treated for minor injuries at an area hospital, then released.
