Waterloo Teens Charged with Theft in Oelwein

Two Waterloo teens face charges following an alleged theft from an Oelwein business.

Oelwein police were called out shortly after 1:30am today (Monday) to the ten block of 1st Avenue SW to investigate the report of a theft.

Following an investigation, 18 year old Michale Jefferson was arrested for theft 5th degree and public intoxication.

Also, 17 year old Lontavius Jordan will be referred to juvenile court authorities on a charge of theft 5th degree.
