Northeast Iowa residents may be treated to another round of rain, hail, high winds, and possibly a tornado in the next batch of severe weather headed our way.


According to the National Weather Service, strong storms are a possibility this (Tuesday, Aug. 28) afternoon into tonight.

Forecasters predict thunderstorms to redevelop later today, and that includes the possibility of isolated tornadoes.

The forecast area includes Allamakee, Black Hawk, Bremer, Chickasaw, Clayton, Fayette, Floyd, Howard, and Winneshiek Counties.
