Volunteers Needed to Set Flags at Woodlawn Cemetery

Help is still being sought in setting up flags in preparation for Memorial Day at Woodlawn cemetery in Oelwein.

Volunteers will be placing small flags on the gravestones of about 800 veterans, Saturday morning.

Those who are available, should report at 8:30am Saturday at Woodlawn cemetery, on the west edge of Oelwein.

They are looking for a few good men (and women!), children, high schoolers, grade schoolers, young or old. You can even make it a family affair.
