The University of Northern Iowa football team dominated Tennessee Tech today inside the UNI-Dome, defeating the Golden Eagles 50-7. The Panthers improved their overall record to 2-2, heading into Missouri Valley Football Conference play.

Junior placekicker scored a career-high 20 points, breaking the school record for points in a game by a kicker.

Sawyer Kollmorgen finished the game 14-21-0 for 200 yards and three touchdowns, while Brett LeMaster, Kevin Vereen Jr. and Braden Lehman all scored receiving touchdowns. David Johnson led the Panthers on the ground with 142 yards.

Brett LeMaster scored his first touchdown since Nov. 17, 2012 when he finished with 106 yards and one touchdown against Missouri State. LeMaster finished the game against the Golden Eagles with 65 yards and his second quarter touchdown.

On the defensive side of the ball, Jake Farley finished with six tackles, including 1.5 tackles for a loss of three yards. Karter Schult finished with four tackles and a career-high two sacks. Deiondre’ Hall had another athletic showing for the Panther defense, coming away with an interception and a 32-yard return for a touchdown.

The Panthers will return to action with their MVFC opener against Indiana State on Saturday, Oct. 4. The game will kick-off at 2 p.m. CT in Terre Haute, Ind.
