Early this morning (Monday, Sept. 29th) around 8:00 A.M. Black Hawk County Sheriff Deputies responded to a two vehicle accident with injuries.

According to the accident report, the accident took place at the intersection of Quarry Road and Foulk Road.  48 year old Raymond Vaughn of Dysart was driving a F-250 eastbound on Quarry Road.  A F-150 driven by 31 year old Jason Rose of Garrison was northbound on Foulk Rad.  Both vehicles collided in the intersection and came to rest in the ditch.  According to the Sheriff's report, visibility at that intersection was poor due to it being gravel and a truck had just driven through that area leaving a cloud of dust. Both drivers indicated they did not see the other.

Both drivers were transported to local hospitals with non-life threatening injuries.  Their conditions have not been released.

Charges are pending.
