Two Local Men Arrested in Separate Recent Incidents

Oelwein Police have arrested a local man after being called out on the report of a disturbance Wednesday afternoon (Feb. 13).

Officers responded to the call to the 300 block of 1st Avenue NE shortly after 3pm. After an investigation, 33 year old Jason Nuehring of Oelwein was taken into custody on charges of Domestic Assault, and Criminal Mischief-4th Degree.

Another Oelwein man was arrested in a separate incident, just before noon on Thursday (Feb. 14), in the 10 block of 1st Avenue SE in Oelwein. 36 year old Christopher Becker was taken into custody by Oelwein Police, on charges of Public Intoxication, and Interference With Official Acts.
