Two Local Men Arrested for Outstanding Warrants

Two Oelwein men have been taken into custody by the Fayette County Sheriff, for separate, outstanding warrants.

On Tuesday (July 31) at about 7:30pm, 46 year old Darrick Brehm was located and arrest on a Fayette County warrant for a probation violation; the original charge was OWI, 3rd Offense. Brehm was taken to the county jail and held on $10,000 cash only bond.

And on Monday (July 30), at around 8pm, 31 year old Cory Hursey was located and arrested on a Fayette County warrant for a probation violation. The original charge was a sex offender registration violation. Hursey was taken to jail and held without bond.
