Traffic Stop and Theft Arrest in Oelwein

A Fredericksburg woman has been cited early this (Tuesday) morning after a traffic stop in Oelwein.

At about 12:40am, Oelwein police pulled over a vehicle in the one block of 1st Avenue SE. The driver, 22 year old Megan Owens, was charged with driving while her license was suspended.

Oelwein police were called to a business in the ten block of 1st Avenue SE at about 4:30pm Monday, on the report of a suspected shoplifter. Investigating officers arrested 43 year old Dwight Davis of Oelwein for theft fifth degree.
