This week is the 103rd Anniversary of the launching and sinking of the Titanic.  Here's just a blip of what we know.  The lady was suppose to be unsinkable.  Stretching two and a half miles long, as big as an 80 story building, this one of a kind giant was constructed of more than 40 ton of steel.  The wreckage stretched some 15 square miles and took over 3 hours to finally come to rest.

While there are tons of facts and fables, a few different movies, many theories and even a a few attempts to bring her back to the surface, my favorite fact finding missions aired on The History Channel and it's here, for you to enjoy.  Hope you enjoy it as much as I do.

If you are interested in learning more about The Titanic, venture to the National Mississippi River Museum & Aquarium in Dubuque May 23 - September 7, 2015.
