CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa (AP) — Officials say someone stole a vehicle, several computers and a game console belonging to a Boys & Girls Club in Cedar Rapids.

The theft happened Saturday at the Polk Alternative Education Center.

John Tursi, the executive director of the Cedar Rapids group, says someone entered the building through a window. Among the items taken were three laptops, a Wii game console, several video games and keys to the vehicle.

Tursi says the vehicle had been used for the group to pick up students at schools in the area.

Police were notified of the crime Monday when staff showed up for work.
