Suspect Found Hiding in a Shed in Hazleton

Buchanan County authorities have arrested a Hazleton man on outstanding warrants, after finding him hiding in a shed.

Just before 5:30pm Saturday (Jan. 12), Buchanan County Sheriff's deputies arrested 36 year old Ricky Howard, Jr.. Howard was wanted on 2 Buchanan County arrest warrants for Failure to Appear. Howard was taken into custody after officers discovered him attempting to hide in a shed located in the 100 block of Third Street South in Hazleton.

Authorities have arrested a Winthrop man on assault charges. At about 3:30am Saturday, Buchanan County deputies took 36 year old Trevor Bagby into custody, after an incident in the 2900 block of 270th Street, south of Winthrop. He is charged with third or subsequent offense of Domestic Abuse Assault.

And the Buchanan County Sheriff arrested a Chicago man after a traffic stop on Highway 20. At about 12:30am Saturday, 60 year old James Burns was taken into custody on charges of First Offense Operating While Intoxicated, Eluding or Attempting to Elude, and speeding.
