The Winneshiek County Sheriff reports arrests over the weekend involving alcohol.

The latest incident happened Sunday (July 1), when the sheriff was called to Randy's Bluffton Store in Bluffton, where a large altercation was reported. Officers responded and arrested 43 year old Joseph Kuba of Cedar Rapids and 22 year old Nathan O'Donnell of Decorah, both on charges of public intoxication.

On Saturday, at about 1am, authorities were called to a single rollover accident on 223rd Avenue, in Hesper Township. 32 year old Zachary Harless of Decorah was the driver of a truck which rolled over, then caught fire. No injuries were reported, but Harless was arrested for Operating While Under the Influence.
