Semi Rollover Nets Charges Against Driver

A southeast Minnesota truck driver is being charged with causing an accident in Winneshiek County.
It happened shortly after 7am Monday (July 25) at the intersection of County Road B-16 and Timber Road, west of Spillville.

A Semi driven by 22 year old Levi Watenphul of Leroy, Minnesota, was headed east, when he tried to make the curve in the road; he lost control and the semi and trailer rolled onto it's side.

No one was injured.

Watenphul was charged with failure to have control.
