Rural Truck Rollover Injures 2, Under Investigation

The Fayette County Sheriff continues to investigate a one-vehicle accident that sent 2 area residents to a Minnesota hospital.

It happened just before 8pm Friday (Oct. 26), on White Tail Road, west of Waucoma. 49 year old Mark Kuennen of Waucoma was the driver of the truck, that left the road and rolled several times in the ditch.

Kuennen and his passenger, 40 year old Jamie Dawn Wenthe of Postville, were extricated by the Waucoma Fire Department. They were flown to a Rochester hospital for treatment. There was no indication of the severity of their injuries.

The accident remains under investigation, and charges are pending.
