Quasky Couple in Custody After Weekend Incident

A Northeast Iowa couple has been arrested following a weekend incident.

On Saturday (March 4), 34 year old Shane Vratney of Quasqueton was taken into custody on a Buchanan County warrant for Violation of a Pre-trial Release.

During the arrest, which was conducted in the 900 block of East Linn Street in Quasqueton, deputies also arrested 33 year old Stephanie Vratney, on a charge of Harassment of a Public Official. She allegedly gave authorities false information as to the whereabouts of Shane Vratney.

The incident was investigated by the Buchanan County Sheriff's Office.
