Prisoner Busted For Pot While Jailed

A Waukon man, jailed in Winneshiek County, faces more charges, after authorities found marijuana in his possession.

The incident happened Thursday (Dec. 13) at the county jail in Decorah. According to the Winneshiek County Sheriff, while 22 year old Anthony Williams was incarcerated, one of the jailers found marijuana with his other possessions.

Williams is now being charged with a felony: Possession of Contraband in a Correctional Institution.

Authorities did not release the reason why Williams was initially jailed
