Polling Places Open in Oelwein

Election day is finally here. Polls are open from 7am to 9pm.

In Oelwein, the polling places are:

Ward 1 and Ward 3: the Oelwein Public Library

Ward 2 and Ward 4: the Oelwein Community Plaza

You should bring a former of I.D.. If you do not have one, you may still vote by signing an oath confirming your I.D..

An I.D. will be required in future elections following this year.
In Northeast Iowa, specifically Oelwein, on the ballot today you will find candidates for U.S. Representative-1st District.

For state offices, you vote for Governor, Secretary of State, State Auditor, State Treasurer, Secretary of Agriculture, Attorney General, State Representative District 55, State Representative District 64.

And for Fayette County: vote for 2 for County Board of Supervisors, County treasurer, County Recorder, and County Attorney.
