Pickup in Ditch, Driver Charged

A West Union motorist is being charged with causing a one-vehicle accident in rural Fayette County.

The Fayette County Sheriff got a report last Tuesday morning, of a vehicle in the ditch on Highway 18, about 3 miles west of Clermont.

Deputies found a pickup, driven by 60 year old Ross Arneson, had gone out of control, and entered the ditch.

No one was injured; the pickup was pulled out of the ditch, and Arneson was charged with failure to maintain control.
