Winneshiek County authorities have arrested 3 Northeast Iowa residents following a drug bust in Calmar.


The arrests were the result of a lengthy investigation by the Winneshiek County Sheriff, and Calmar Police Department.

Officers served a search warrant at about 4pm Wednesday (Dec. 12) at a home in Calmar. Three people were arrested on five felony drug charges.

37 year old Destiny Chambers of Calmar was charged with a controlled substance violation (methamphetamine), failure to affix drug stamp, felony gathering where controlled substances are used and aggravated possession of controlled substance (2nd offense).

21 year old Dominick Watson of Calmar was charged with a felony controlled substance violation (3rd or subsequent offfense) (methamphetamine), felony gathering where controlled substances are used and possession of drug paraphernalia.

And 27 year old Lane Breitsprecher of Fort Atkinson was arrested for a controlled substance violation (methamphetamine) and possession of drug paraphernalia.

More arrests are pending, and the case remains under investigation.

The Winneshiek County Sheriff was assisted by the Winneshiek County Attorney's Office, Iowa State Patrol, and Decorah Police Department.
