One Person Dies in Area Traffic Accident

An eastern Iowa man has died in a one-vehicle accident in Washington County.

It happened just before 9am Monday (March 13) on Vine Avenue, north of Ainsworth.

According to the Iowa State Patrol, 38 year old Clint Norris of Ainsworth was driving northbound, when his vehicle entered a ditch and struck a creek. The 2013 Cadillac XTS finally came to rest in the creek.

Norris was pronounced dead at the scene.

The State Patrol was assisted by the Washington County Sheriff.
