Oelwein Traffic Stop Nets a Drug Arrest

Oelwein Police have arrested a young Strawberry Point man on drug charges, after he was pulled over Monday night (Aug. 6).

Just before 10:30pm Monday, Oelwein Police officers performed a traffic stop in the 500 block of East Charles.

Following an investigation, 19 year old Alex Pope of Strawberry Point was taken into custody on a charge of Possession of a Controlled Substance, which is a Serious Misdemeanor.
