Oelwein Police Report Arrests and Various Citations

Oelwein Police were kept busy over the weekend:

On Saturday (July 28) just before 12:30pm, officers pulled over a car in the 500 block of West Charles. 31 year old Jeffrey Wilson of Oelwein was arrested for Driving While his License is Barred.

The Oelwein Police Department is investigating two incidents of Criminal Mischief that were reported at about noon Saturday in the 200 block of 4th Street SW, and in the 300 block of 8th Avenue NE.

There was also a report of criminal mischief Sunday (July 29) just after 11am in the 200 block of 4th Street SW.

On Sunday, officers arrested 40 year old Megan Larkin of Oelwein, on a Buchanan County warrant for Violation of a Court Order on an original charge of a No-Contact order. Larkin was also charged with Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. She was arrested in the 10 block of 1st Avenue SE.

And at about 2am Sunday, two young Oelwein residents were cited for Possession of Alcohol Under the Legal Age. They were identified as 20 year old Madison Meyer, and 19 year old Dominick Knowles. And 2 other juveniles were referred to Juvenile Court Services for underage alcohol possession. They were cited in the 10 block of 5th Avenue SE.
