Oelwein Police Report Arrests and Citations

Oelwein Police have arrested a Maynard resident for an outstanding warrant.

Just before 2am Tuesday (July 10), officers pulled over a car in the 700 block of Highway 150 North. After an investigation, 36 year old Milea Mickey was taken into custody on a Black Hawk County warrant, for an original charge of Theft-4th Degree.

An Oelwein man has been arrested on an abuse charge. At about 4:30pm Monday, authorities received a report of a domestic incident in the 400 block of 13th Avenue NW. As a result, 24 year old Joshua Rohrick was taken into custody on a charge of Domestic Abuse Assault.

Oelwein Police issued a citation to a local man for Allowing a Dog to Run at Large. The incident happened July 7th in the 100 block of 9th Avenue SE. 35 year old Fernando Mejia was cited.

And Oelwein Police cited 28 year old Emilio Torres of Oelwein for Failure to Abate Property as Ordered, in the 1,000 block of West Charles. This stemmed from a report taken on July 2nd.
