Oelwein Police Report 2 Arrests and an Accident in the City

An Oelwein woman has been arrested on a driving violation.

During a traffic stop at about 1:30 this (Monday) morning in the 1100 block of West Charles, 25 year old Sandra McMurrin was taken into custody for driving while her license is revoked.

Oelwein Police made an arrest after getting a call late Friday night, on the report of a woman causing a disturbance in the area of the 700 block of South Frederick. Officers located 20 year old Jordan Brewer, arresting her for public intoxication.

And Oelwein Police were called out to a traffic accident in the ten block of 10th Avenue, just before 3:30pm Sunday. A pickup driven by Dennis Carey collided with a car driven by Ashley Saunders. No injuries were reported. Saunders' car sustained $2,000 in damage.
