Oelwein Police Nab Local Resident for Drugs

A local man has been arrested on illegal drug charges.

On Tuesday (Oct. 10), Oelwein Police took 45 year old Thomas Darland of Oelwein into custody, in the 700 block of 3rd street SE.

Darland is being charged with Possession of Marijuana-2nd or Subsequent Offense, which is an aggravated misdemeanor.

An Oelwein woman has been arrested on 2 outstanding warrants.

At about 6:30pm Monday (Oct. 9), Oelwein Police took 36 year old Latosha Tucker into custody on 2 Fayette County Sheriff's Office warrants.

The warrants were for a Violation of Compulsory Education Mediation Agreement.
