Oelwein Police Look Into a Theft and Some Vandalism

The Oelwein Police Department is investigating some vandalism and a theft.

The criminal mischief was reported shortly after 8am Thursday (Feb. 15); it was done to a vehicle in the 500 block of Rock Island Road.

The theft was reported to police just before noon Thursday, from a building in the 10 block of 2nd Avenue SW.

Both incidents remain under investigation.
