Two Northeast Iowa men have escaped serious injuries, in separate vehicle rollovers on Interstate 380 late yesterday afternoon (Jan. 31).


The first accident was called in to the Linn County Sheriff's Office at about 4pm. It happened on Interstate 380 near Hagerman Road, south of Center Point.

A vehicle driven by 52 year old Daniel Brown of Winthrop was northbound on the Interstate, when he lost control, rolling the vehicle into the ditch. Brown was taken to St. Luke's Hospital in Cedar Rapids with minor injuries.

The other accident happened about an hour later, just before 5pm, also on Interstate 380, southwest of Center Point.

A vehicle driven by 20 year old Hunter Reisner of Oelwein, was traveling south near Center Ridge Road, when his vehicle went out of control, and rolled in the median. Reisner was also taken to St. Luke's Hospital with minor injuries.

The Linn County Sheriff notes that both drivers were wearing their seat belts.
