Oelwein Arrests

PHOTO_Squad-Car-Night_credit-Dmitriy-Eremenkov[/caption]The Oelwein Police Department is investigating a hit and run incident. It happened just before midnight on Thursday, in the 700 block of 1st Avenue NE. A parked vehicle was struck by another vehicle; the suspect vehicle then left the scene.

Oelwein Police have arrested a Waterloo teen following an incident earlier this week. At about 5am Monday, officers were called to the 100 block of 2nd Avenue NW on the report of a dispute. Following the investigation, 17 year old Jasmin Dupree Keys of Waterloo was taken into custody on a charge of disorderly conduct: fighting. Keys was referred to juvenile court authorities.
