Services for Steve Downer, 51, of Aurora, are Monday, Nov. 15 at 10:30 AM at Grace United Methodist Church in Lamont. Burial at Union Cemetery, Putnam Township, rural Aurora. Visitation is Sunday from 2 PM to 5 PM and Monday for one hour prior to services at the church. Fawcett-Schmitz Funeral Home of Winthrop and Lamont is assisting the family.

Services for Douglas Miller, 75, of Cedar Falls, are Tuesday, Nov. 9 at 11 AM at St. Peter Lutheran Church in Denver. Burial at Garden of Memories in Waterloo with military rites at the gravesite conducted by the Acker Mathias American Legion Post No. 653 in Denver. Visitation is Monday from 4 PM to 7 PM at Kaiser-Corson Funeral Home in Denver and Tuesday for one hour prior to services at the church.

Following burial, there will be a Celebration of Life Monday starting at noon at Riceville Community Center in Riceville. Visitation is Sunda from 4 PM to 7 PM at Hindt-Hudek Funeral Home in Riceville.

A public visitation for D.J. Scholtes, 33, of Waukon, will be held Monday, Nov. 8 from 4 PM to 7 PM at Martin-Grau Funeral Home in Waukon. A private visitation for Allamakee High School students and staff will also be held Monday. A Celebration of Life Service will be held at a later date.
