Services for a Hawkeye man, 81 year old Paul Nuss are Thursday, 10am, at Trinity Lutheran Church, Hawkeye.  Burial to follow at Hawkeye Cemetery.  Visitation is Wednesday, Dec 26, 4-7 at the church fellowship hall and also one hour prior to services on Thursday.

Memorial Services for a Charles City man, 64 year old Darrell Sherbon are Saturday, 12 (NOON) at Saint John Evangelical Lutheran Church.  A gathering of family and friends will take place one hour prior to service time.

Mass of Christian Burial Service for a Tripoli woman, Doris Frost are Thursday, Dec. 27, 10:30 am at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Sumner.  Burial to follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery, rural Sumner.  Visitation is Wednesday, 4-7pm at the church and also one hour prior to services on Thursday.

Services for an Elkader woman, 69 year old Merlynn Johnson are Saturday, 10:30am at Peace United Church of Christ.  Burial in Seneca Wisconsin at St. Patrick Catholic Cemetery, 2pm.  Visitation is Friday, 3-6pm at Leonard-Grau Funeral Home, Elkader.

Services for an Independence man, Robert Johnson Sr., are Saturday, 10:30, at First Presbyterian Church, Independence.  Burial in Mt. Hope Cemetery.  Visitation is Friday, 3-7pm at White Funeral Home, Independence, with Military Service at 6:30.

Services for a Waukon man, 89 year old Eugene Oesterle are Saturday, 10:30 at St. Patrick Catholic Church, Waukon.  Burial at Mt. Olivet Cemetery.  Visitation is Friday, 4-7pm at Martin Funeral Home in Waukon.

A Strawberry Point woman passes away Wednesday, Mardell  (Lindstrom) Jaskolski formerly of Clarion.  There are no services and burial will take place at a later date in Mesa, Arizona.
