Services for an Oelwein woman, 83 year old Mary Reed, are today, Monday at 10:30am at Grace United Methodist church in Oelwein. Burial in Woodlawn cemetery. Visitation is an hour before services.

Services for an Osage woman, 91 year old Antonia "Toni" Brandt, are today, Monday at 10:30am at Immanuel Lutheran church in St. Ansgar. Burial in the church cemetery.

A rural Independence woman, 79 year old Juanita Widner, died Friday. There will be no services. White funeral home in Independence is assisting the family.

A former Waverly man, 87 year old Howard "Slim" Vogel of Clarence, died Wednesday. Burial of cremains will be held today, Monday at 1pm at Harlington cemetery in Waverly with military rites.
