Services for an Independence woman, 72 year old Donna Brown, are Tuesday at 10:30am at White funeral home in Independence. Burial in Mt. Hope cemetery. Visitation is 4-7pm Monday (today) at the funeral home.

An Iowa City woman, 62 year old Sherry Smith, died Saturday; there will be a private family funeral service. Burial in St. Mary Catholic cemetery in Manchester. Leonard Muller funeral home is handling arrangements.

A New Hampton man died Sunday; services for 85 year old Donald Boeding, are pending at Hugeback Johnson funeral home in New Hampton.

Celebration of Life services for a former Osage man, 64 year old Michael Flack, also known as "Mike the Drummer" of Waterloo, will be Friday at 2pm at Champion Bucheit funeral home in Osage. Inurnment in the Osage cemetery. Friends may call an hour before services.

A Celebration of Life for a rural Hawkeye man, 62 year old Donald Lee, will be held Wednesday at 11am at United Methodist church in Hawkeye. Visitation is 4-8pm Tuesday at Becker Milnes funeral home in Hawkeye and an hour before services at the church.

Services for an Independence woman, 65 year old Karen Christian, are today, Monday at 11am at White funeral home in Independence. Burial in Littleton cemetery at a later date.

A Celebration of Life for a Decorah man, 64 year old Jeffrey Kovacevich, will be Friday from 5-8pm at Fjelstul funeral home in Decorah, with a memorial service at 6:30pm.

Services for a Waverly man, 90 year old George Kohagen, are Wednesday at 11am at St. Paul's Lutheran church and school in Waverly. Burial in St. John's Lutheran cemetery-Crane Creek in rural Tripoli. Visitation is 4-7pm Tuesday at Kaiser Corson funeral home in Waverly and an hour before services at the church.

Services for a Spillville man, 88 year old Dwayne Hauber, are today, Monday at 10:30am at St. Wenceslaus Cathlic church in Spillville. Burial in the church cemetery. Visitation is an hour before services.

Services for a Cresco woman, 95 year old Vivian Shields, are today, Monday at 11am at Notre Dame Catholic church in Cresco. Burial in Calvary cemetery. Visitation is an hour before services at the church. Hindt Hudek funeral home is assisting the family.
