Services for an Independence woman, 86 year old Helen Nollen, are Thursday at 10:30am at St. John's Catholic church in Independence. Burial in the church cemetery. Friends may call 4-7pm Wednesday and 8-10am Thursday at Reiff funeral home in Independence, with a 4pm rosary on Wednesday.

Services for a Manchester man, 93 year old Joseph Hoffmann, are Saturday at 10:30am at First Lutheran church in Manchester. Burial with military rites in Peace Lutheran cemetery in Ryan. Visitation is 2-7pm Friday at Leonard Muller funeral home in Manchester and an hour before services at the church.

Memorial services for a Decorah man, 82 year old Jon Vine, are Friday at 1:30pm at Decorah Lutheran church. Inurnment in Union Prairie cemetery in rural Decorah with full military honors. Visitation is 4-6pm Thursday at Fjelstul funeral home in Decorah and an hour before services at the church.

A New Hampton woman died Monday; services for 82 year old Arlene Holthaus are pending at Hugeback Johnson funeral home in New Hampton.

Services for a Dorchester man, 20 year old Bill "Billy Boy" Johns, are Friday at 7pm at Martin funeral home in Waukon. Private family burial of ashes will be held at a later date in St. Mary's cemetery in Dorchester. Friends may call 4pm until service time Friday at the funeral home.

Visitation is 4-7pm Wednesday at the church, with a 4pm rosary and 7pm vigil service, and an hour before services at the church.
