May 27 funeral announcements

Services for an Alta Vista man, 92 year old Floyd Roethler, will be held at 10:30am on Wednesday at Immaculate Conception Catholc Church in Elma. Burial will be held at St. Patrick's at St. Cecelia Cemetery in Elma. Visitation will be held from 4-8pm on Tuesday at Conway-Markham Funeral Home in Elma with a 4:30pm Scriptural Wake Service and a 7:30pm Rosary.

Services for a Nashua woman, 95 year old Martha Crooks, will be held 10:30am on Wednesday at St.John Lutheran Church in Nashua. interment will be in Sunnyside Memory Garden in rural Charles City. Friends may greet the family 5-8pm on Tuesday at the Hugeback-Johnson Funeral Home. Visitation will continue an hour prior to the service at the church on Wednesday.

Services for a Jesup man, 53 year old James Joseph "Jim" Fischels, will be held at 10:30am on Saturday at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Gilbertville. Burial will be at St. Mary's Cemetery in Gilbertville. Visitation wil be from 3-8pm on today at the White Funeral home in Jesup where there will be a 4pm rosary and a 7pm Vigil service. Visitation will continue for an hour before services on Saturday at the church.

Services for a Gilbertville man, 84 year old Norbert Even, will be held at 10:30am on Tuesday at Immaculate Conception Catholc Church in Gilbertville. Burial will be at St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery in Gilbertville with military rites. Visitation will be from 3-8pm on Monday at the White Funeral Home in Jesup with a 5pm rosary and a 6:30pm vigil service. Visitation will continue for an hour before services on Tuesday at the church.

Services for an Allison woman, 95 year old Irene Mae Poppen, will be held on Tuesday at 10:30am at the St. James Lutheran Church in ALlison. Burial of her Cremains will be held in the Allison Cemetery. Family will greet friends and relatives an hour before services on Tuesday at the church.
