Memorial Services for a Decorah man, 91 year old Karl Aschim, are Friday at 11am at Decorah Lutheran church. Burial in Phelps cemetery at a later date with full military honors. Visitation is an hour before services at the church. Fjelstul funeral home in Decorah is serving the family.

A Protivin woman died Sunday; services for 82 year old Jane Sorenson, are pending at Hugeback Johnson funeral home in Protivin.

Services for a former Hawkeye man, 88 year old Harold Diemer of Sumner, are Tuesday at 11am at St. Peter Lutheran church-Richfield. Burial in the church cemetery with military rites. Visitation is an hour before services at the church.

Memorial services for a former St. Olaf man, 81 year old Gary Lenth of Atkins, are Tuesday at 11am at Leonard Grau funeral home in Elkader. Inurnment at a later date. Visitation is 9-11am Tuesday at the funeral home.

Services for an Oran man, 86 year old Russell Cummings, are Thursday at 10:30am at United Methodist church in Fairbank. Burial in Fairview cemetery in Dunkerton. Visitation is 4-7pm Wednesday at Woods funeral home in Fairbank.

Services for a Charles City woman, 89 year old Dorothy Putney, are Wednesday at 11am at Hauser funeral home in Charles City. Burial in Calvary cemetery. Visitation is 5-7pm Tuesday at the funeral home, with a 7pm scripture service, and an hour before services.

Memorial services for a former Waukon man, 89 year old Milton Turner of Postville, are Tuesday at 11am at St. John's Lutheran church in Waukon. Burial in Oakland cemetery. Friends may call from 9am until services Tuesday at the church. Martin funeral home in Waukon is handling arrangements.
