Services for an Ossian man, 75 year old David Breitsprecher, are Wednesday at 11am at Ossian Lutheran church. Burial in Hillside cemetery. Visitation is 3-7pm Tuesday at the church, and an hour before services. Schluter Balik funeral home is handling arrangements.

A Postville man died Saturday; services for 79 year old Gerald Meyer, are pending at Schutte Grau funeral home in Postville.

Services for a former St. Lucas man, 89 year old Kenneth Kuennen of Decorah, are Friday at 11am at St. Luke's Catholic church in St. Lucas. Burial in the church cemetery. Visitation is 3-7pm Thursday at the church, with a 7pm scripture service, and an hour before services. Schluter Balik funeral home in handling arrangements.

Services for a Charles City woman, 89 year old Betty Hovey, are Tuesday at 10:30am at Immacule Conception Catholic church in Charles City. Burial in Calvary cemetery. Friends may call an hour before services at the church. Hauser funeral home in Charles City is in charge of arrangements.

Services for an Osage woman, 77 year old Isabelle "Belle" Spitz, are today, Monday at 10am at Sacred Heart Oratory in Meyer. Burial in Sacred Heart cemetery in Osage.

A Tripoli man, 76 year old Dennis Buhr, died Thursday; private family burial will be held at Grace Lutheran church cemetery in Tripoli. Rettig funeral home is handling arrangements.

A former Elkader woman, 53 year old Sherry Whitford of Saint Peters, Missouri, died Wednesday. A visitation will be held Saturday, 3-6pm at Grau funeral home in Elkader. Private family burial will be held on Sunday.

Memorial services for 96 year old Catherine Hall Timson, a former Lamont, Independence and Winthrop woman, are Monday, June 11 at 11am at the Church of Christ United in Winthrop. Friends may greet the family after the service.

Services for a Postville man, 79 year old Gerald "Pete" Meyer, are Thursday at 11am at St. Paul Lutheran church in Postville. Burial with military rites in Postville cemetery. Visitation is 4-7pm Wednesday in the church fellowship hall, and an hour before services at the church. Schutte Grau funeral home in Postville is helping the family.
