A Strawberry Point man, Dennis Millard, died Monday at his home; no services or visitation are planned. Leonard Muller funeral home is handling arrangements.

Services for an Independence man, 89 year old Richard "Dick" Moore, are Wednesday at 11am at Immanuel Lutheran church in Independence. Burial in Mt. Hope Cemetery at a later date. Visitation is 4-7pm Tuesday at White funeral home in Independence, with a 6:30pm military service.

Services for a New Hampton man, 90 year old Duane "Dewey" Leichtman are Thursday at 10:30am at Trinity Lutheran church in New Hampton. Burial in New Hampton cemetery with military honors. Visitation is 4-7pm Wednesday at Conway Markham funeral home in New Hampton, and an hour before services at the church.

Memorial services for a New Hampton woman, 86 year old Elinor Kist, are Friday at 11am at Harvest Church in New Hampton. Burial at a later date. Friends may call 4-7pm Thursday at Hugeback Johnson funeral home in New Hampton and an hour before services at the church.

A Postville woman died Monday; services for 87 year old Shirley Brainard are pending at Schutte Grau funeral home in Postville.

A West Union woman, 90 year old Ann Minger, died Monday; services are pending at Burnham-Wood-Grau funeral home in West Union.

Memorial services for a Waukon woman, 58 year old Barbara Homewood, are Saturday at 11am at Zion United Church of Christ in Waukon. Friends may call an hour before services at the church. Martin funeral home in Waukon is assisting the family.

Services for a West Union woman, 68 year old Doris Miller, are Saturday at 10am at St. Peter Lutheran church in Eldorado. Inurnment in Mt. Calvary cemetery at a later date. Visitation is 4-7pm Friday at Burnham-Wood-Grau funeral home in West Union and an hour before services at the church.
