Services for a Winthrop man, 69 year old Richard "Rick" Briggs, are Saturday at 11am at Church of Christ United in Winthrop. Burial in Byron Township cemetery north of Winthrop, with military graveside services. Visitation is 4-7pm Friday at Fawcett funeral home in Winthrop and an hour before services at the church.

Services for a rural Maynard man, 90 year old Peter Greco, are Saturday at 10:30am at Sacred Heart Catholic church in Oelwein. Burial in Woodlawn cemetery in Oelwein. Visitation is 3-7pm Friday and 9-10am Saturday at Jamison Schmitz funeral home in Oelwein, with a 6pm military service and 6:30pm Scripture service Friday.

A Celebration of Life for an Oelwein woman, 53 year old Lisa Burgos, will be Saturday from 2-4pm at Geilenfeld funeral home in Oelwein.

Services for a Guttenberg woman, 89 year old Arlene Thein, are Saturday at 10am at St. John's Lutheran church in Guttenberg. Burial in Guttenberg city cemetery. Friends may call an hour before services at the church. Tuecke Allyn funeral home in Guttenberg is handling arrangements.

A Waucoma woman, 81 year old Irma Kuennen, died Tuesday; services will be held at a later date. Burnham-Wood-Grau funeral home in West Union is helping the family.

Services for a Denver woman, 89 year old Esther Canfield, are Friday at 2pm at St. Peter Lutheran church in Denver. Burial in Floral Hills Memorial Gardens. Visitation is 4-7pm Thursday at Kaiser Corson funeral home in Denver and an hour before services at the church.

Services for an Osage woman, 85 year old Donna Engebretson, are Monday at 11:30am at Champion Bucheit funeral home in Osage. Burial in the Osage cemetery. Visitation is 5-7pm Sunday at Champion Bucheit funeral home in Osage.
