Services for a Waukon woman, 84 year old Phyllis Welch, are Thursday at 11am at St. Patrick Catholic church in Waukon. Burial in St. Mary's Lycurgus cemetery in rural Waukon. Friends may call 4-7pm Wednesday at Martin funeral home in Waukon.

Services for a Castalia man, 70 year old Dean Monroe, are Saturday at 11am at Zion Lutheran church in Castalia with full military rites. Visitation is 4-8pm Friday at the church. Private family burial at a later date. Schutte Grau funeral home in Postville is helping the family.

Services for an Ossian man, 85 year old Arthur Tangen, are Friday at 11am at Stavanger Lutheran church in rural Ossian. Burial in the church cemetery. Visitation is 4-7pm Thursday at the church, and an hour before services. Schmitz Grau funeral home in Ossian is helping the family.

Memorial services for an Ossian man, 74 year old Duane Einck, are Saturday at 10am at the Wildwood Events Center in Ossian. Friends may call 4-8pm Friday at the events center, and an hour before services. Schluter Balik funeral home in Decorah is handling arrangements.

An Oelwein man died Monday afternoon; services for 38 year old Joshua Hartson are pending at Jamison Schmitz funeral home in Oelwein.

Services for a former Sumner woman, 83 year old Delores Flanscha of Tripoli, are Friday at 10:30am at St. Paul's Lutheran church in Sumner. Burial in Union Mound cemetery. Visitation is 9am until service time at the church. Becker Milnes funeral home is handling arrangements.

An Oelwein man, 87 year old Robert Damon, died Tuesday morning. Private family gravesite services will be held at Floral Hills Memorial Gardens. Jamison Schmitz funeral home in Oelwein is assisting the family.
