Services for a former Fairbank woman, 100 year old Ruth Love of Independence, are Wednesday at 11am at Woods funeral home in Fairbank. Visitation is 9:30 to 10:30am Wednesday at the funeral home.

Memorial services for a Denver man, Larry Niemann, are Friday at 10:30am at St. Peter Lutheran church in Denver. Visitation is 4-7pm Thursday at Kaiser Corson funeral home in Denver.

A Castalia man died Monday; services for 70 year old Dean Monroe are pending at Schutte Grau funeral home in Postville.

Services for a Lansing man, 68 year old Stanley "Stan" Larson, are Friday at 2pm at Thornburg Grau funeral home in Lansing. A private visitation will begin at 1pm, and friends may call 1:30-2pm Friday at the funeral home.

Services for a Stacyville man, 83 year old Wilbur Simon, are Saturday at 11am at Visitation Catholic church in Stacyville. Burial in the church cemetery with military honors. Visitation is 4-7pm Friday at the church. Champion Bucheit funeral home is handling arrangements.

An Ossian man died Monday; services for 85 year old Arthur Tangen are pending at Schmitz Grau funeral home in Ossian.

Services for a Lansing man, 83 year old Peter Rethwisch, are Monday at 11am at Immaculate Conception Catholic church in Lansing. Burial at a later date. Visitation is 2-6pm Sunday at Thornburg Grau funeral home in Lansing, with a 2pm rosary and 6pm scripture service, and an hour before services at the church.

Memorial services for an Osage man, 86 year old James Grinstead, are Thursday at 11am at Champion Bucheit funeral home in Osage. A Private inurnment ceremony will be held at a later date.

Services for a Guttenberg resident, 88 year old NaValle Eglseder, are Thursday at 10am at St. Mary's Catholic church in Guttenberg. Burial in the Garnavillo community center. Friends may call 4-7pm Wednesday at Tuecke Allyn funeral home in Guttenberg, and an hour before services at the church.
