Services for an Independence man, 72 year old Ralph Weber Jr.,  are Friday at 10:30am at St. John's Catholic church in Independence. Burial at a later date in the church cemetery. Friends may call 2-8pm Thursday and 8-10am Friday at Reiff funeral home in Independence, with a 3pm rosary.

Memorial services for a Decorah woman, 91 year old Ruth Remmen, are Saturday at 11am at Washington Prairie Lutheran church in rural Decorah. Burial in the church cemetery. Visitation is 3-6pm Friday at Schluter Balik funeral home in Decorah and an hour before services at the church.

A Waverly woman died Tuesday; services for 97 year old Marjorie Chandler are pending at Hugeback Johnson funeral home-Olson chapel in Nashua.

Services for a former rural Ionia man 93 year old Melvin Kalvig of New Hampton, are Thursday at 10:30am at Republic Community church in rural Ionia. Burial in Sunnyside Memory Gardens in rural Charles City. Friends may call 4-7pm Wednesday at Hugeback Johnson funeral home-Olson chapel in Nashua, and an hour before services at the church.

Services for a Fairbank man, 68 year old Thomas Boehme, are Saturday at 10:30am at Immaculate Conception Catholic church in Fairbank. Burial in the church cemetery. Visitation is 4-8pm Friday at Woods funeral home in Fairbank.

A St. Lucas man died Tuesday at his home; services for 84 year old Killian Bodensteiner are pending at Hugeback Johnson funeral home.

Services for a Grand Meadow, Minnesota woman, 70 year old Colleen Hofmeister, are Wednesday (Feb. 15) at 11am at Sacred Heart Catholic church in Osage. Inurnment at a later date in Visitation cemetery in Stacyville. Lunch and fellowship will follow at the Columbus Club. Champion Bucheit funeral home is handling arrangements.
