February 6 funeral announcements

A Manchester woman, 96 year old Elaine Emrich, passed away on Sunday. Per her wishes, there will be no serivce. A private inurnment will be held at a later date. The Leonard-Muller Funeral Home in Manchester is assisting the family.

Services for a New Hampton woman, 88 year old Celine "Dolly" Whiteman, will be held on Tuesday at 10:30am at Holy Family Parish in New Hampton. Interment will be in St. Mary's Cemetery in New Hampton. Friends may greet the family from 4-6pm today at the Hughback-Johnson Funeral Home in New Hampton and will contine an hour prior to the service at the church on Tuesday.

A New Hampton man, 93 year old Melvin Kalvig, passed away on Sunday. Funeral services are pending with Hugeback-Johnson Funeral Home in Nashua.

Services for a Decorah woman, 74 year old Carolyn Mikkelson, will be held on Tuesday at 11am at the First Lutheran Church in Decorah. Visitation will be held from 4-6pm today at the Schluter-Balik Funeral Home in Decorah and will continue at the church on Tuesday morning.

Services for a Waukon man, 82 year old Ketih Fahey, will be held on Wednesday at 11am at St. Patrick Catholic Church in Waukon. Burial with military graveside rites will be in Mt. Olivet Cemetery in Waukon. Friends may call from 4-8pm on Tuesday at Martin Funeral Home in Waukon with a 3:30pm Scripture service.

Services for an Oelwein man, 75 year old John Kerns, will be held on Wednesday at 10:30am at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Oelwein. Visitation will be on Tuesday from 3-8pm at Jamison-Schmitz Funeral Home in Oelwein and will continue from 9-10am Wednesday morning at the funeral home, with a military service at 7pm and parish scripture service at 8pm Tuesday. Burial in Woodlawn cemetery.

A New Hampton man, 94 year old Eugene Schultz, passed away on Sunday. Arrangements are with Conway-Markham Funeral Home in New Hampton.

Services for a former Cedar Falls and Waverly man, 90 year old Eugene "Gene" Gaulke of Deland Florida, will be held on Tuesday at 11am at Kaiser-Corson Funeral Home in Waverly. Burial will be held at Harlington Cemetery with military graveside rites. Public visitation will be held on Tuesday from 10am until services at 11am.

Services for a Guttenberg woman, 92 year old Louisa Billmeyer, will be held on Tuesday at 10am at St. John's Lutheran Church in Guttenberg. Interment will be at Mt Harmony Cemetery in Elkport. Visitation will be from 3-6pm Monday at Tuecke-Allyn Funeral Home in Guttenberg and will continue an hour before the service at church on Tuesday.

Services for a Guttenberg man, 83 year old James Niemeyer, will be held today (Monday) at 1:30pm at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Guttenberg. Interment will be at Mt Olivet Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 12:30-1:30pm on Monday at the church. Tuecke-Allyn Funeral Home in Guttenberg is assisting the family.

Services for a Manchester woman, 62 year old Mary Knutson, will be held Tuesday at 11am at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Manchester. Interment will be at Oakland Cemetery in Manchester. Visitation will be on Monday from 3-7pm at Leonard-Muller Funeral Home in Manchester where there will be a 3pm scripture service. Visitation will continue an hour prior to Mass at the church on Tuesday.

A visitation service for a Riceville man, 93 year old Bob "Timmy" Timmerman, will be held at Lindstrom Funeral Home in Riceville from 1-3pm on Tuesday. Burial will be in Wayne Cemetery in rural McIntire.

Services for an Elkader man, 75 year old John Nelson, will be held at 11am Monday at Kingdom Hall Elkader. Visitation will be at 10am until the service at the Kingdom Hall on Monday. Leonard Grau Funeral Home is assisting the family.

Services for an Osage woman, 99 year old Irene Adams, will be held on Friday at 10:30am at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Osage. Burial will be in St. Peter's Cemetery at New Haven. Visitation will be from 4-6pm on Thursday at the Champion-Bucheit Funeral Home in Osage where there will be a rosary at 4:30pm.

Services for an Oelwein woman, 85 year old Dorothy Gloede, will be held on Tuesday at 11am at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Oelwein. Interment will be in Woodlawn Cemetery at Oelwein. Visitation will be held 3-7pm on Monday at the Geilenfeld Funeral Home in Oelwein with a rosary service at 2:45pm.

Services for an Oelwein man, 87 year old Albert Gathman, will be held at 11am on Monday at Stanley Union Church in Stanley. Interment will be in Union Cemetery at Aurora. Geilenfeld Funeral Home in Oelwein is assisting the family.

Services for a Lawler man, 82 year old John "Jack" Meissen, will be held Monday at 10:30am at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Catholic Church in Lawler. Interment will be in the church cemetery. Friends may greet the family an hour before the Mass at the church.

A McGregor man, 47 year old Dan Hallberg, passed away on Thursday. A Celebration of Life service will be at a later date. Thornburg-Grau Funeral Home in McGregor is helping the family.

Services for an Oelwein woman, 63 year old Jane Palmer, are Thursday at 10:30am at Jamison Schmitz funeral home in Oelwein. Burial in Woodlawn cemetery. Visitation is 4-8pm Wednesday and an hour before services Thursday, at the funeral home.
