Services for a Jesup man, 89 year old Richard Venem, are Friday at 10:30am at First Presbyterian church in Jesup, with military rites. Burial in Graceland cemetery in New Hampton. Visitation is 4-8pm Thursday at White funeral home in Jesup, and an hour before services at the church.

A Luxemburg man died Monday; services for 59 year old Ronald Lake are being made at Tuecke Allyn funeral home in Guttenberg. Friends may call 4-7pm Wednesday at the funeral home; inurnment at a later date.

Services for a rural Arlington man, 88 year old Leonard Day, are Saturday at 10am at United Methodist church in Arlington. Burial in Taylorsville cemetery. Visitation is 4-8pm Friday at the church. Jamison Schmitz funeral home in Arlington is assisting the family.

Services for an Oelwein man, 85 year old Ralph Kane, are Thursday at 10:30am at Peace Lutheran church in Oelwein. Burial in Fairbank cemetery. Visitation is 4-8pm Wednesday at Jamison Schmitz funeral home in Oelwein, and an hour before services at the church.

Services for an Osage woman, 79 year old Wilma Jean Onken, are Thursday at 11am at Sacred Heart Parish Hall in Osage. Burial in St. Peter's cemetery in New Haven. Visitation is 4:30-7pm Wednesday at Champion Bucheit funeral home in Osage, with a 4:45pm rosary.

Services for a former Waverly woman, 87 year old Correne Bowen of Cedar Falls, are Friday at 10:30am at Grace Baptist church in Waverly. Burial in Riverside cemetery in Shell Rock. Visitation is 4-7pm Thursday at Kaiser Corson funeral home in Waverly, and an hour before services at the church.
