Dec. 7 funeral announcements

A former Waverly woman, 93 year old Lucille Downing of Clarksville, died Wednesday. Burial of her cremains will be held Saturday at 11am at St. Paul's Lutheran church cemetery in Waverly. Kaiser Corson funeral home in Waverly is assisting the family.

Services for a West Union woman, 70 year old Linda Bright, are Saturday at 10am at United Methodist church in West Union. Burial in Elgin cemetery. Visitation is 3-7pm Friday at the church, and an hour before services. Burnham-Wood-Grau funeral home in West Union is in charge of arrangements.

Services for a Cresco woman, 80 year old Alice Carolan, are Saturday at 11am at Immanuel Lutheran church in Cresco. Burial in Oak Lawn cemetery. Friends may call 4-6pm Friday at Lindstrom funeral home in Cresco.

Services for an Oelwein man, 83 year old Wayne Liebe, are Monday at 11am at Sacred Heart Catholic church in Oelwein. Burial at a later date. Visitation is 2-5pm Sunday at Geilenfeld funeral home in Oelwein.

Memorial services for an Elma woman, 72 year old Kaye Brophy, are Saturday at 3pm at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic church in Lourdes. Visitation is an hour before services at the church. Conway Markham funeral home is handling arrangements.
