Services for a Waverly man, 47 year old Kirk Hummel, are Saturday at 10:30am at Orchard Hill church in Cedar Falls. Burial in Harlington cemetery in Waverly. Visitation is 4-7pm Friday at Kaiser Corson funeral home in Waverly and an hour before services at the church.

Services for a former Ossian woman, 89 year old Mabel Molokken of West Union, are Saturday at 10:30am at St. Peter Lutheran church in Eldorado. Burial in First Lutheran cemetery in rural Ossian. Visitation is 4-8pm Friday at Schmitz Grau funeral home in Ossian and an hour before services at the church.

Services for a Spillville man, 89 year old James Giesing, are Tuesday at 11am at St. Wenceslaus Catholic church in Spillville. Burial in the church cemetery. Visitation is an hour before services at the church. Balik funeral home in Spillville is handling arrangements.

Services for an Aurora woman, 92 year old Velma Crow Richardson, are Saturday at 10:30am at Aurora United Methodist church. Burial in Madison cemetery, south of Aurora. Visitation is from 9am until service time at the church. Fawcett funeral home is in charge of arrangements.

Services for a Prairie du Chien woman, 96 year old Rosella "Toots" Scherlin, are Friday at 10am at St. John Catholic church in Prairie du Chien. Burial in Evergreen cemetery. Visitation is an hour before services at the church. Thornburg Grau funeral home in Prairie is helping the family.

Services for a former Oelwein woman, 99 year old Velma Steffen of Johnston, are Friday at 11am at Christ United Presbyterian church in Oelwein. Burial in Woodlawn cemetery. Visitation is 4-6pm Thursday at Jamison Schmitz funeral home in Oelwein, and an hour before services at the church.

An Elkader woman died Dec. 22; memorial services for 78 year old Marleen Heuer will be held at a later date. Leonard funeral home in Elkader is assisting the family.

Services for a former Denver woman, 88 year old Ramona Nelson of Waterloo, are Thursday at 10:30am at Grace Baptist church in Waverly. Private family burial will be Saturday at Stanchfield Baptist church cemetery in Minnesota. Visitation is 5:30-7:30pm Wednesday at Kaiser Corson funeral home in Waverly.
