Services for a Denver woman, 90 year old Geraldine Wolter, are Friday at 10:30am at St. Peter Lutheran church in Denver. Burial in the church cemetery. Visitation is 4-7pm Thursday at Kaiser Corson funeral home in Denver and an hour before services at the church.

A Cresco man died Monday; services for 57 year old Wendel Slifka will be held at a later date. Lindstrom funeral home in Cresco is assisting the family.

An Ossian man, 63 year old Walter Wagner, died Saturday; no services are planned at this time. Schmitz Grau funeral home in Ossian is helping the family.

An Oelwein woman died Tuesday at her home; services for 89 year old Darlene Jones are pending at Jamison Schmitz funeral home in Oelwein.

Services for a Guttenberg woman, 98 year old Larene Anna Backhaus, are Friday at 10:30am at Tuecke Allyn funeral home in Garnavillo. Burial in Garnavillo Community cemetery. Friends may call an hour before services at the funeral home.

Services for a Waukon man, 82 year old Vernon Shogren, are Saturday at 11am at First Baptist church in Waukon. Burial with military honors in Center Baptist cemetery in rural Lansing. Friends may call 4-7pm Friday at Martin funeral home in Waukon.

A memorial visitation for a former Waverly and Allison man, 81 year old Robert "Bob" Miller of Cedar Falls, will be held Tuesday (Jan. 2) from 3pm to 5pm at Kaiser Corson funeral home in Waverly. Private inurnment at a later date.

Services for a McGregor woman, 82 year old Barbara Schultz, are Saturday at 11am at First Congregational church in McGregor. Burial in Pleasant Grove cemetery. Visitation is 4-7pm Friday at Thornburg Grau funeral home in McGregor and an hour before services at the church.
